OUR MISSION
Inspired by the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19, Evangelical Missions Ministry serves communities through practical acts of love, compassion, and empowerment. We support individuals and families facing hardship through food support, skills development, and inclusive community activities that promote dignity, wellbeing, and hope. Our Christian faith is expressed through service, offered freely and inclusively to all people, regardless of background, belief, age, or circumstance alway.
Evangelical Missions Ministry is a faith-based, community-focused charitable organisation dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals and strengthening communities through practical care, compassion, and empowerment. We exist to respond to human need with dignity, hope, and purposeful action, guided by the Christian values of love, service, justice, and respect for all people.
Our mission is rooted in the belief that every individual has inherent worth and the potential to thrive when given the right support. While our inspiration comes from our Christian faith, our services are open to everyone, regardless of background, belief, age, gender, or circumstance. We are committed to serving inclusively and without discrimination.
Evangelical Missions Ministry works to address key social challenges affecting communities, including food insecurity, social isolation, unemployment, skills gaps, and limited access to opportunity. We place particular focus on low-income households, young people, families in hardship, and individuals who may be socially or economically isolated.
Our core activities include the delivery of community food support initiatives, skills development and employability programmes, and inclusive social and wellbeing activities designed to bring people together. Through these programmes, we aim to improve quality of life, promote self-reliance, and create clear pathways toward independence and long-term stability.
Collaboration is central to our approach. We work in partnership with local councils, community organisations, schools, faith groups, and volunteers to ensure that our services are accessible, culturally sensitive, and responsive to local needs. By listening to the communities we serve, we design solutions that are practical, effective, and sustainable.
